Trevor Warner – President / Consultant
Trevor Warner is the founder and president of Warner Consulting Group and has been providing telecom and IT consulting services in this area of operations to the hospitality industry for over 18 years. Trevor is based in Columbus, OH with his wife and four children where he is very involved in the community including committees for several charity events, running community sports leagues, volunteering to coach youth teams, and volunteering for church community outreach programs. Trevor graduated from Otterbein University in 1993 Cum Laude where he lettered four years in Football. Other than spending time with the family, he loves to travel the world with his wife and friends.
1 – My dream vacation – South Pacific. I love traveling and seeing new cultures and new places and there is always something good around blue water and white beaches.
2 - Would you or have you ever created a social network to meet members of the opposite sex? – I’m too old to say yes. If I was in college now, I absolutely would. But, if I was in college now at my age, yikes, that would not be good.
3 – You just won the lottery, what’s the first thing you do? Pay off the bills and put the foundation together. I’d like to think life would not change but I’m guessing that’s not the case.
4 – You just won church bingo, what’s the first thing you do? Boom Kitty, watch out local pub, here we come!
5 - 45% of the US wants to be famous (what’s that say about our culture), if you could be on a reality show, which one would you choose? No doubt, it would be Amazing Race. Now, picking a partner may be more difficult.
6 – If we gave you $100 in Vegas to gamble, what’s the game of choice? Roulette. I had a system for a long time and it did very well until one time it did not. I’d give it one more try (with your $100).

Chris Hartmann - Vice – President / Senior Consultant
Chris has been helping hotels and resorts identify, select and install technologies to improve profits and guest satisfaction for over a decade. He graduated from Harvard University cum laude in 1978 with a degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences (the department that included computer science back then) and began his career as a software engineer and project manager for NJ-based. R. Shriver Associates. After overseeing the development of an integrated media, financial and HR system, Chris became the senior IT person for Grey Advertising, a worldwide, top-tier ad agency, based in Manhattan, where he rose to Senior VP and CTO. Following a successful Y2K mitigation project at Grey, he moved over to hospitality technology consulting, forming HVS Technology Strategies under Steve Rushmore’s HVS hotel consulting services umbrella. After spending several years as CTO/CMO at eSuites Hotels, a startup hotel brand which was ultimately unable to launch due to the industry downturn in 2009, he returned to consulting, joining Warner Consulting Group in 2012.
Chris and his wife live in the Tampa/Orlando area and as recently transplanted northerners greatly enjoy the warm weather and sunshine of west-central Florida. He is an avid tennis player and tries to get to West Coast as often as possible, with all three of his children living in the San Francisco Bay area.
1 – My dream vacation – San Francisco. All three of my children live in the Bay area.
2 - Would you or have you ever created a social network to meet members of the opposite sex? No. I met my wife in college and we were married shortly after she graduated, and since that was 32 years ago, not much chance, or need for it.
3 – You just won the lottery, what’s the first thing you do?- Probably buy every electronic gadget I could find, then feel guilty and choose some worthwhile charities to which I’d donate an equal amount.
4 – You just won church bingo, what’s the first thing you do? Buy my favorite electronic gadget at the time.
5 - 45% of the US wants to be famous (what’s that say about our culture), if you could be on a reality show, which one would you choose? “Restaurant Impossible”. First because the challenge of rehabilitating a troubled business in a few days is really exciting. Second because technology is an overlooked component of the makeover. Lastly because I would be a huge hero to my youngest daughter, who loves the show, mostly because of Chef Robert Irvine.
6 – If we gave you $100 in Vegas to gamble, what’s the game of choice? There aren’t many Vegas table games I don’t enjoy. I prefer the larger payouts of 3 Card Poker and Let It Ride to Blackjack. I like to think I’d use the money on one of the amazing Vegas shows, but that probably wouldn’t be the case.

One thing you should know about me, I’m…a big fan of warm weather places where there is no threat of snow.
I spend the most hours a month doing…work, followed by shopping for good deals, and working to reduce my Netflix queue.
Name one TV Show you will record and never watch and why don’t you watch it? I stopped recording shows after the last season of Lost filled up my TiVo. I’d rather see an entire season in a month instead of once a week.
When a store has double doors why do they only let you use one of them? No idea, Target doors open on their own.
What is the best part of working with Warner Consulting Group? A successful activation!

Jen Hering - Project Manager
Jen Hering has brought her talents to Warner Consulting since 2008 as a project manager in charge of insuring a smooth transition both operationally and fiscally. Jen is very focused on customer satisfaction and as a detailed oriented person is well suited for our company and our customers.
One thing you should know about me, I’m… from Indiana and love college hoops.
I spend the most hours a month doing… finding reasons to procrastinate the things I should be doing.
Name one TV Show you will record and never watch and why don’t you watch it? The Daily Show, because it’s on so much and I can’t keep up. But it’s always worth it to go back and watch the interviews.
When a store has double doors why do they only let you use one of them? Because the person who designed it isn’t as smart as Trevor Warner.
What is the best part of working with Warner Consulting Group? Knowing that our work helps the hotels get the most for their money and have a better grasp on their services.
That, or working with Trevor.
