David Shanks has been a Consultant with Warner Consulting Group (WCG) since 2005. His background includes over 15 years in the hospitality industry with sales & marketing and business development leadership roles in hotel technology, franchising and brokerage firms. He has a strong knowledge of hotel operations and his perspective in serving hotel owning or management firms is truly through the eyes of a hotelier seeking to improve financial results, advance operational performance and enhancement of the guest experience. In so doing, a trusting business relationship is formed, the right short and long-term strategies are implemented and client delight is achieved.

Mr. Shanks is a graduate of Drake University with a BS in Business Administration. He is an active member of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) and HFTP Front Range Chapter. He believes that the hospitality industry has surpassed the "tipping point" where technology is now an essential element in a hotel's overall performance success. By forging partnerships and collaborating with leading technology firms, he believes WCG can ensure clients remain technology-forward and their hotels hold a strong competitive position in their respective markets.

David has been happily married over 22 years to his wife Deb and has two sons, Nathan (19) and Chandler (15). He is actively involved in his church and has a passion for the outdoor lifestyle Colorado offers ? enjoying mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, tennis, skiing and photography.
